So, I decided it's kinda stupid to worry about posting my nutrition and all in here when I already have that info all on line and I doubt anyone but me is interested anyway. Plus, you know, it's kinda a pain in the ass. And not in a good way.
So! Progress:
Total pounds lost: 32.4
Total inches lost
Waist: 4.875
Hips: 3.5
Neck: 1.37
Also have started wearing jeans still in the OMG-no-one's-butt-is-that-big! category, but seeing as how I haven't been able to wear them in 2-3 years, am very happy!

20 lbs gone!
*ahem* That is to say I have weighed myself this morning and have in less than 2 weeks managed to lose 20 lbs!!!
*grins* Yes, I'm happy. I wanted to know, but was afraid to know at the same time - and yes, I know that that will slow and I'll start to lose less as my body adjusts - but OMG! Am very very very happy with that.
Devs has started using the same site I am for the recording of info and so we measured her this morning after getting our weights and went ahead and did me again so we would be on the same day. (She says she'll forget to do it otherwise). In three days - my neck, no change (which is not a shocker, it's only 14 inches to start with) - I added half an inch to my waist - but not really. The pouch thing that came along above my waist after I had the Monkey? Is starting to disappear. And as it does, it's sitting lower, the above portion flattening out, which is why. So I'm still happy. And my hips? The bane of my existence? In the three days - I've lost another inch!
So upper stomach is going, hips are going - especially right above them, top of the pelvic bone area for women? That bone is right there. No fifteen layers of fat over it, I can feel it. Am also losing the gigantic ass! Which... honestly makes it look smaller but more prominent if that makes sense? There's a steeper slope to my lower back instead of shelf butt? A well, it's going so I'm glad.
I just - wow. It's unreal how fast I'm seeing these changes in my own body and kicking myself for not getting back on it a long time ago. And even though I'm exhausted and sweaty as hell right after cardio - after I cool down, shower, change - I feel amazing. The endorphins are kicking in and I'm starting to really love it again.
On that subject, I went walking yesterday and did what I thought was the 2 miles, checked the time - and whoa! I still had enough time to add what I thought was half a mile! Well, it turns out after checking with the car, that the stretch of road that should be slightly over a quarter mile each way is actually 1/5. *grumbles* So am now doing 2 miles per cardio session and was previously doing 1.6 miles each time I went out. So not quite as well as I thought I was doing, but a greater increase in speed, rather than doing just 3 min/mile better, am actually doing double that at 6 min/mile better! Plan to change route next week and add some hills into first mile or so.
Corrected info from last entry and new times (including today thus far, but hopefully it'll be cooler where I can get at least 1 more, if not 2 more sessions in, unlike yesterday - seriously, I stayed up and finally went to bed it was still nearly 90 out. WTF?) under ( the cut )
Wednesday, July 25th sucked hardcore so far as diet/exercise go. Finally got the 7th Harry Potter book, spent four hours that morning sitting in a waiting room (was comfy, so no prob there) reading while waiting for car to be done. Made the mistake of grabbing a Sausage, Egg and Cheese McMuffin, a medium hazelnut iced coffee and half an OJ - whoa. That little thing has 450 calories. *jaw drop* Now I knew it couldn't be good for me, but had to hurry to get to auto center and just - damn. For the first time ever I met my fat calorie recommendations and due to a banana at 10pm went 49 over my calorie allowance. (Should had a plum) Was sooo tempted to add it to the next day, but what's the good of lying to myself? Exactly and not happening again!
I hadn't really planned by this time to worry about the strength exercises for the day - I mean missing one time couldn't hurt right? But yeah - after seeing that I felt all icky and guilty and stayed up to do them.
( Nutrition )
So for now I'm surpassing my goals, glad about that and hoping to keep it up!
Thank you for your support and interest - honestly, it helps with the motivation so much.

Hi all! I should have started filling this in earlier but between avoiding HP spoilers - (and due to a break down on the way to get the book I still won't have read it until tomorrow when the car should be done) and Monkey being home for the summer, it's been a bit hectic.
Okay - have been eating healthier for a couple of months now, thanks to a site I had joined earlier this month but only started really using this last week, here's the breakdown on food:
Date: 7/16 7/17 7/18 7/19 7/20 7/21 7/22 7/23
Cals: 1,055 1,387 1,017 1,379 1,200 1,258 1,070 1,202
Fat: 34 43 20 30 24 25 36 37
Carbs: 138 182 135 209 195 179 119 60
Pro: 34 77 78 66 60 87 76 91
Goal Suggested
Calories: 1200 - 1550
Fat: 27 - 60
Carbohydrates: 135 - 252
Protein: 60 - 136
Now they gave me a calorie value of 1200 - 1550 per day, but I'm going to be shooting for the lower end of that and not worry unless it's less than 1000 a day. I know on The Biggest Loser they keep the women at 1000 - 1200.
On the fitness side, I do Strength Training M/W/F - plus some added in whenever I feel like it. I edited some of what they suggested and added a bunch, I won't bore you by putting those down. Hopefully I'll start to report this on a daily rather than weekly basis so it won't be so much at once.
Anyway, cardio: ETA: Corrected in next entry also.
Date Time/Calories Burned
7/17: 30/216 150
7/18: 25/384 200
7/19: 25/240 125
7/20: 35/252 175
7/21: 20/144 100
7/22: 70/512 435 - was not all walking
7/23: 70/504 350
The end result between this morning and last tuesday? Weight-wise, I only intend to check every other week to keep myself from getting discouraged. Plus I need to buy a reliable scale instead of checking on one I know isn't entirely accurate. So then, measurements. Which, confuse me.
I've been walking four miles a day at a rate of 15 minutes per mile the last few days, at least 2 miles before that - so I could not resist measuring myself a few days early. At that point I had lost half an inch at my neck (which surprised me because I don't have a big neck to start with), 1 inch on my waist and 2.75 on my hips.
As of today - the day I'm suppose to do the weighing and measuring - I've lost .75 at my neck, 3 inches at my waist and 1 inch on my hips.
...
Huh?
Okay... I had lost 2.75 at my hips and now it's at 1? When you're losing weight from your waist does it sort of slide down and do a hangy thing or...?
Am a bit confused about that.
But on the other hand - 3 inches from my waist! w00t!
That's worth the two blisters I got from walking yesterday.
Am also working to quit smoking - did really well on the first day but have cheated the last two. I need to get that down - it gives me sooo much more energy - in fact, a bit too much. I told a few people yesterday that I felt like a chipmunk on crack with 0 attention span. I was also talking very fast - I needed one just to calm down a bit!
ETA: The rich text thing it keeps switching to is ANNOYING!
